CHICAGO, IL- May, 2011—BSP Software LLC, an IBM Business Partner and proven leader in innovative, integrated solutions for IBM Cognos software, announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued patent number 8,073,863 for its MetaManager® technology.
The patent, entitled “Batch Management of Metadata in a Business Intelligence Architecture”, was awarded by the USPTO on December 6th, 2011. The patent grant comes within months of BSP’s Integrated Control Suite technology patent grant, further validating the innovative solutions that BSP Software has prided itself on building.
Since its inception in 2006, MetaManager has grown to over 25 modules spanning an entire administrative lifecycle of capabilities. The product’s core competencies include backup and recovery, deployment, find and replace, documentation, validation, security administration, security auditing, cube management and user profile maintenance.
